HARRISBURG- When Pennsylvania released its latest round of high school state assessment scores last week, Harrisburg High School earned a failing grade. The bulk of 11th grade students scored below the level that is considered proficient for math, science and reading. Five weeks earlier, the state released equally disappointing scores for elementary and middle school students with one school failing to log a single student in fifth, sixth or seventh grade who scored at grade level in math.
